Mary Achola
Meet Achola
Achola’s journey with MaryFaith Children’s Center began in 2015 when she sought safety and support during a difficult chapter of her life. At MaryFaith, she found more than just shelter—she discovered a nurturing space where she could heal, grow, and thrive.
A Journey of Academic and Personal Growth
With the unwavering encouragement of MaryFaith’s dedicated team, Achola flourished both academically and personally. She completed high school and is now pursuing a degree in International Studies and Diplomacy at the university. Her dream is to become an ambassador and advocate for refugee children, using her education and experiences to create a brighter future for vulnerable children worldwide.
Healing Through Dance
Achola’s healing extended beyond the classroom. As a member of the Wastaarabu Dancers, she found solace and strength in dance. It became her outlet for self-expression, a tool for building confidence, and a way to connect with others. Dance helped Achola process her emotions and rediscover her sense of joy and empowerment.
A Future Full of Promise
Achola’s story is a powerful testimony to resilience and the transformative impact of care and support. She is determined to use her education, experiences, and passion to uplift others, proving that with the right foundation, children can overcome adversity and achieve their dreams.
